Blue Fin! Heard a bit about this mom & pop shop so I'm glad to finally check it out. The outdoor dining area was nice and clean and super relaxing, but on a hot summer day any normal person would probably prefer indoor seating.
As far as the food menu, there is a vast sushi selection along with miscellaneous appetizers & bentos. I opted for the chicken teriyaki to keep it light. Chicken was nicely cooked and flavor was spot on. I've heard that if you want to adjust your personal settings on the sauce, it's best to ask for it on the side.
All in all love the location & its proximity to cable airport, and the fast convenient food is an added plus. -

Blue Fin Sushi is one of my favorite fast/casual sushi restaurants. You order at the counter and the food is delivered promptly to your cafe table. It's really not big on frills, but the portions are generous and food is fresh. Sushi rolls are served with a bowl of miso soup.
I had the California roll ($5.75) and pink lady roll ($12.95, no rice) on my last visit. It was really a lot more food than I bargained for. There's jazz on the patio on Sunday afternoons, or usually a sports event on the TV inside. I like this unpretentious, convenient, good-value restaurant and I would recommend it. -

We tried this sushi place as it is close to the Claremont Colleges. The service was friendly and attentive and the parking was plentiful. Since this is located in a mini mall the parking is free. They do have a large menu that can be overwhelming. However I decided to try a combination platter which was a good price the amount of food you get. The ambience is extremely casual and the dining room was small. The food was just ok, the quantity was large but not memorable. I might return to try other things but only because of the convenience of the location.

Really good food and really good service!
I had the chicken katsu and a number one roll and I was blown away. Portions are generous and the flavors are too. The rest of my party was just as satisfied. I'm definitely planning on going back and looking forward to explore their menu some more. -

My dad and I would go here every Sunday and Thursday to eat. I have been going here for years, and still go here very often. I have tried other sushi places, but this one is at the top of my list. It tastes amazing and is always fresh, and the customer service is amazing! The live jazz every Sunday contributes to the cool environment. 100% recommend this place
